Welcome to the Co-Working Space!
Ah, the joys of remote work, or, what I like to call, bringing your laptop with you when you pee.
But, in all seriousness, remote work has been a game changer for me. Not only has it allowed me to travel the world, it’s let me set a schedule that’s flexible and can account for fluctuating energy levels.
Whether you want to travel the world working remotely from your laptop, or you simply want a work schedule that adapts well to your lifestyle, this is the place where we’ll come together to get stuff done. And it’s always easier to hit your goals when you’re doing it with other people.
Remote work can get lonely, especially when you first start out. I remember starting my remote work career in London where I already didn’t know anybody. Joining a co-working space made me feel sane again – there were other people doing what I was doing – and succeeding! It also provided accountability for setting and reaching my remote work goals, whether that was landing a new client or finishing a blog post, having a community around me always helped me do more.
But perhaps the biggest benefit of a co-working space? I could leave my laptop at my desk when I had to go to the washroom.
Below are resources to help you out on your remote work journey. Don’t forget to take a break and head to the yoga studio when you’re done!
