Why wouldn't you do what works? You may be thinking. It's certainly a question I've asked myself during flare-up when all I want to do is watch reruns of 30 Rock and not practice yoga or meditation or eat greens.
Sometimes it's really hard to do the thing that works. Because we get busy, or tired, or bored and the thing that works isn't as fun as watching the latest episode of What We Do in the Shadows.
Or, sometimes, like me, we can even forget that the thing that works works. I know yoga works. That's why you're here reading this (probably!)!
But because I've been practicing for so long, I sometimes forget that yeah, when I don't do yoga, I'm really tired! I wonder, could everything I've said about yoga really be true? And then I start practicing again, and it is.
So I'm just gonna do it, but also like not feel bad about not doing it for a time because we're not robots who can just get our spinach, ashwaganda, and yoga EVERY day ALL the time. And we certainly can't all keep up with a bi-monthly newsletter…not naming names…
As we're getting close to the end of the year, I'm gonna try to just…do more of the things that work for me.
